Standard Screen Resolutions
A total of 3 different screen resolutions is supported by FIFA Manager 08:

1280x1024: this is the ideal resolution (most of the screenshots are 1280x1024). In this resolution; the calendar is located in the upper half of the screen, the info is on the left side and the selectable widgets on the bottom are displayed in full.
1280x768: This resolution doesn't display the widgets at all- thus they cannot be used. The same applies for the calendar in the upper half. The info on the left side is fully displayed.
1024x768: In this resolution, the calendar and the widgets are also left out. The infos pops up if you move the mouse to the left side of the screen.

Other Resolutions (especially interesting for laptops)
In the past, FIFA Manager simply used the full screen, irrespective of the type of monitor and its resolution. This sometimes led to an extremely distorted and often blurred view, especially on laptops with a 16:10 display.

FIFA Manager 08 will automatically detect the aspect ratio being used and maintain the original ratio. The screen ratio used will always be correct and the picture will be displayed perfectly. However sometimes the screen will have borders to maintain the correct display ratio.

Example: if you have a LCD monitor with a 1600x1200 resolution

In this case, you can play with the ideal FIFA Manager resolution 1280x1024, the view will be gauged and you play with a black frame but in perfect quality.
